Departing from Antigua or Guatemala City in the early morning, this adventure begins with a short flight to Flores, followed by a scenic drive through the Petén jungle. Upon arrival at Tikal National Park, a bilingual guide will lead you through one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Central America.
Explore ancient plazas, towering temples, and ceremonial complexes including Complex Q, the Main Plaza, the Seven Temples, and the mystical Lost World. Surrounded by lush rainforest, the site is alive with wildlife—howler monkeys, toucans, and coatis often appear as you walk among the ruins. After your tour, enjoy lunch at your jungle lodge and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing or wandering deeper into the park at your own pace.
Spend the night in the heart of the jungle at either. As the sun sets and the forest comes alive with nocturnal sounds, you’ll experience the magic of the Mayan world like few ever do.
On the second day, enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast and time to revisit the park or relax by the pool. Later, transfer back to the Flores airport for your return flight to Guatemala City, with a shuttle waiting to bring you back to Antigua or your hotel in the capital.
